My perfectly cooked eggs and fresh potatoes made my day. I almost didn’t stay because of the line up but I’m glad I waited. Bacon isn’t paper thin, sausages and peameal seared and juicy. They happened to be short staffed that day so I was worried the food quality and service would suffer but they absolutely delivered. The servers were just as friendly and hospitable and food on par. Only like three places in the city for breakfast but this is the only one that checks all the boxes for me. Perfect eggs and fresh potatoes, and great service!
Great diner, literally a classic. Wish I had found it sooner. So 50s style, lots of space, full of people. Prompt, friendly service. There’s even a drivethru and if you want a breakfast sandwich, they have it here too.
I had the eggs benny which was great. Nice, thick bacon. Good hollandaise sauce.
This place is right in a plaza on Stone Church. IIt’s going to be a regular place for me.
Donut Diner has the iconic black and white checkered floors and red booth accents and keeps the original name, and still serves donuts as well as other food items.
I’ve been here before and I would say that the service here is usually pretty good.
They have a decently sized menu for the type of restaurant, for breakfast lunch dinner or snacks.
Coffee was good, donuts were good, breakfast was good.
I’d come here again!
